NBSC AND CHARLES UNIVERSITY ENGAGE IN PRELIMINARY ACADEMIC DIALOGUE FOR GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) and Charles University (CU) of the Czech Republic convened for an initial academic consultation on May 5, 2026, at the NBSC Boardroom, laying the groundwork for a potential international partnership. The engagement focused on a preliminary discussion regarding future collaborative undertakings and shared academic goals.
The session featured a series of lectures led by CU faculty members Dr. Daniel Frynta, Dr. Iveta Stolhoferova, and Dr. Petra Frýdlova, who were accompanied by Dr. Alma B. Mohagan, Central Mindanao University’s International Affairs Focal Person. NBSC President Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, and Research Development and Innovation Division (RDID) Director Dr. Mary Koren Witting-Acuesa facilitated the dialogue, which explored how both institutions might eventually align their expertise in research and academic excellence.
During the consultation, representatives touched upon various areas of potential cooperation, including joint research activities. The discussion served as a vital exploratory phase to ensure that any future formal agreements are rooted in mutual understanding and reciprocal benefits.
This engagement marks a significant step in expanding the College’s reach within the global academic community.
